Who can join?

Find a Doula welcomes individuals and organisations involved in end of life care, bereavement, wellbeing, education and related support.

This includes:

• trained end of life or death doulas
• people undertaking recognised end of life doula training
• practitioners with relevant care, counselling, spiritual support, bereavement or family-support experience
• charities, hospices, training providers, wellbeing centres and community organisations

Your profile

Your profile should give people a clear and honest picture of who you are, the support you offer, your experience and the areas you cover.

Keep your information accurate and up to date. Only include training, qualifications or experience that you can evidence if asked.

If you are linked to an organisation that is also listed on Find a Doula, you can connect your profile to theirs.

By joining, you agree to:

• provide accurate, respectful and professional profile content
• keep your availability and contact details up to date
• avoid misleading claims about your experience, qualifications or services
• communicate with enquiries promptly, respectfully and confidentially
• be clear about fees, availability and the support you offer
• work within your training, experience and competence
• signpost people to appropriate medical, legal, safeguarding or emergency services where needed

Important information

Find a Doula is an independent directory. We do not provide medical, clinical, legal, counselling or emergency support.

Members are independent practitioners or organisations. A listing does not mean that Find a Doula employs, regulates, supervises or formally accredits that member.

Do not present yourself as offering medical, nursing, therapeutic, legal or clinical services unless you are appropriately qualified, insured and authorised to do so.

Verification and review

We may review profiles before or after publication and may ask for further information about your training, experience or content.

We may edit, pause, decline or remove profiles that are inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, unsafe or unsuitable for the platform.

Membership

Membership lets you create and manage a professional profile, including your background, support offered, experience, service area and contact details.

Membership does not guarantee enquiries, clients, bookings, search ranking, profile views or a particular level of visibility.
